Life as a paranoid teenager continued…

So if you read my last blog post (which if you haven’t, go check it out Life as a paranoid teenager,Β it will do you a world of good) you have definitely been waiting in anticipation for my this blog post as I will be sharing the next steps of “Being subtle for dummies 101”.

So by now you should’ve bought yourself a beautiful Chinese hand fan and used it as well..

So
Step 2: Get yourself one of those pocket mirrors. And maneuver it in such a way that you can see the person and just pretend you’re fixing your hair or whatever.. Which believe me will be a lot more subtle than full on staring at the person.

Step 3: Take a selfie. Make sure that the person you’re always staring at is unconsciously photo bombing it… For obvious reasons… You can legit stare at them forever and they won’t even know. (You’ll just look extremely anti social)

Step 4: Just walk up to the person, say “Hi, I like you. Wanna go out for milkshakes sometime?” Now this isn’t really how to be more subtle but it’s much better than staring at someone all day, every day. And when you’re scared, remind yourself of Nike’s famous words: “Just do it.”

Happy practicing!!

Enjoy the rest of your day πŸ™‚

P.S Have these tips helped you? Do you have any other tips you can give to advise others?… including me. We can all learn from each other!

Life as a paranoid teenager

“Do you ever feel someone staring at you and then just, sort of… forget how to walk.”

Yes, yes I do!! In fact I forget how to walk more often than I actually remember/know how to walk. Which is definitely an achievement in my book, it’s sort of like being able to slip on flat surfaces; which is a skill that I have also mastered.
So the reason why I know the feeling of forgetting how to walk is because for the past few months (to be honest I thought it would’ve stopped by now) this dude and his “gang/squad/clan” have mastered the art of subtle staring and they’re about as subtle as guns. So in the process of them becoming weird and a lot more in my face I have decided to write this blog… For those souls out there who need some training or guidance and help when it comes to being subtle… I can help!!

Welcome to ‘Being sublte for dummies 101’

Step 1: Buy a chinese hand fan, preferably one of those that you can peep through

You will probably look like a freak but it won’t look like you’re staring….

Step 2: Wait for next blog post πŸ™‚

In my next blog post I will give the rest of the tips β™₯
